A good choice of free HTML design software is called Nvu. With this software you can add graphics, colors, tables and many other things to personalize your newsletter design. You do not have to know anything about HTML codes, because you can easily create customized features using the visual tools in the program. You can download Nvu for free and test it out yourself.

If you have a text format newsletter you can use NotePad, which is a program that is available on any version of Microsoft Windows. The reason you should use NotePad instead of MS Word is some of the characters in Word are not compatible with “plain text” emails.

If you use a PDF format, after you have created your newsletter in MS Word. You can use the PDF creation tool called “PrimoPDF” to convert your newsletter to PDF format. You can download PrimoPDF for free and try it out your self.
