Let the recipients of your company newsletter know they are part of an exclusive group of people. Show them the benefits of being on the list of valued customers by offering specials to those receiving the newsletter.

A customer will be more likely to open up the newsletter and actually read the contents if they believe they will find some special deals just for them. Encourage customers to participate in surveys and contests by showing them how much you value their opinion.

 

When a customer feels that their opinions are valued and listened to they will begin to feel a loyalty to that business. Show them how you have implemented changes to your business because of the opinions of the newsletter recipients.
